I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of Venice Beach as it’s one the most popular beaches in Los Angeles, but do you know about Venice Canals? It’s a peaceful and charming neighborhood about 15 miles East of Downtown LA. Whenever you want to take a break from the activities at the beach or just want to get away from all the craziness of Los Angeles, I highly recommend taking a morning or afternoon stroll in Venice Canals.
So you have finally decided to visit Kiwiland and I’m sure you’re looking forward to seeing the vast array of landscapes and long miles of beaches that are very unique to this country. Every vacation needs to have some basic preparation; being prepared can save you from confusion and allow you to focus more on creating memorable experiences in this breathtaking country. Our first trip to Seattle back in October 2013 was the first time my wife and I went on a vacation after having our first born child… so this was quite special. We instantly fell in love with it mostly because of the weather. It is rainy and gloomy - the perfect weather for us. We have talked about moving here numerous times because we just felt we belong here. Two years later we came back and took our son with us. This time we checked out some of Seattle’s real estate as the thought of moving in this city gives us some sort of buzz. Maybe some day we will move here. When the kids are all grown up, I see myself living here and basking in the gloomy, rainy weather of this city. For now, I can only share with you some reasons why Seattle has become our favorite.
1. We love the rain.
