About MeI'm not a travel blogger traveling 365 days of the year. I work full time as a graphic designer and I love exploring new places. My wife and I have two beautiful kids Parker and Kalea, and we have a puppy named Chipper. When Kristine and I decided to start a family, we realized how easy it is to fall into a routine of waking up, taking care of the kids, going to work, running errands, doing house hold chores, etc. It didn't feel right that our marriage was taking the back burner while we took care of other aspects of our lives. This is when we made a commitment to take vacations with just the two of us... to get away from all the distractions and just be connected with each other.
We take at least two vacations per year to recharge and it had completely transformed our lives. Every time we get back from vacation, we notice how we take home that glistening glow from the incredible places and the new things and activities we get to try. We rediscover the reasons why we fell in love for the first time. This vibrant energy transforms into how we treat our children, how we value our work, and most importantly, how the passion between me and my wife stays alive. Join me and Kristine as we travel the world one city at a time. |
Why My Next Flight Home?
I named this site My Next Flight Home because I'm not a full time traveler. My wife and I travel to spend some quality time with each other - to have a break from all the hustle and bustle of life. Every time we spend a week at an amazing destination, we always fly back to Southern California --- our home, where we have decided to raise our family and establish our roots. As much as we get excited going on our vacations, it makes us even more thrilled to come back home after exploring amazing places and experiencing new activities from our trips. Every vacation we go to, we learn new things not just in the places we visit, but from each other as well. Traveling allows us to the opportunity to appreciate our life even more --- our careers, our routines, our children, our marriage.
I've been to many places but it doesn't matter where I am, or whether I'm enjoying a family trip or relishing a romantic getaway; I feel at home when I am with my best friend Kristine, because ultimately, home is where my wife is.
